Thank you for stopping by – before we recap the last couple weeks and the City Social services, we want to explain why the Old Courthouse is so special to us.
First, our Lead Coordinator, Leslie, got married in the Old Courthouse Courtroom to her now husband, Mitch, and they had their reception in the Ballroom on the same floor. They love downtown Evansville and when they first visited the Courthouse together they knew immediately that was the venue for them. They had Pizza Revolution cater, the Pacetre did all the desserts, they popped bottles, and had an amazing evening. Every time they would pass the Old Courthouse it would bring up only the best of memories.
Fast forward three years later and here we are in the Old Courthouse planning events, weddings, and ultimately living a dream. After working with other local creatives who also call the Courthouse their work home – they recommended Leslie check out a space on the first floor (Rachel Wambach of Sprout Design and Matt Wagner of Matt Wagner Design ). Being in the first year of business this didn’t even seem like an option, but the space is perfect and now this building is special for so many more reasons. We also recently got two new neighbors (suite neighbors), Jordan Barclay of Jordan Barclay Photography and Aaron Tanner of Melodic Virtue. Working near so many talented creative professionals and friends is a truly amazing opportunity in itself.
With this background we can now wrap up our mid-late summer blog series* with an invitation to come visit us at the Old Courthouse downtown, 201 NW 4th Street, Suite 104. We are hosting a soft-launch open house this Friday, July 28, 2017, from 3:00 PM – 5:00 PM, and would love to see you there. If you can’t make this day and time, send us an email to schedule a time to visit, or just pop by during regular business hours 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday through Friday. We hope to see you soon, cheers!
